Got a question for us? Now is your chance to ask! Get curious at the Illinois State Museum this fall with Curiosity Week! The week will kick off on September 18, celebrating Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day Live! Hands-on activities will be available throughout the galleries. Starting on Saturday and continuing throughout the week, visitors can explore our natural history exhibit, Changes and see where their curiosity leads them! Visitors are encouraged to leave the Museum staff questions or comments about the exhibit in the exhibit itself.The questions and comments will be gathered by staff and answered on social media throughout the week.
Curiosity week will wrap up on Friday, September 24 with the opening of the Museum’s new family art exhibit, Art on the Move. In-gallery activities will be available all day and Director of Collections and Research, Robert Sill will be available from 2-3 pm to answer questions about the exhibit.
