Dickson Mounds Museum offers a wide range of public programs throughout the year -- on archaeology, Indian cultures of the Americas, natural history, and rural life and culture. Programs include workshops, demonstrations, performances, conferences, and festivals -- many of which are held outdoors. Most events are free to the public.

Enjoy lunch with archaeologists, learn about the Morton Village Site excavation, and then dig! Participants will receive hands-on instruction in proper excavation techniques and how to identify, clean, organize, and sort their finds.
