- Dickson Mounds, Lewistown
Combine Earth Day and the COVID-19 emergency to make a family memory during this unusual time in our nation’s history. Pick-up a free native Illinois tree seedling at one of several locations in Fulton and Mason County and plant it as a family activity. Families are encouraged to take a photograph with their planted tree and share it to the Illinois State Museum-Dickson Mounds Facebook page to help document home-bound activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A limited number of seedlings will be available on first come, first served, honor system limit of 2 per household basis beginning at 10:00 a.m. on April 22nd.
Please remember to practice social distancing, keeping a proper distance between individuals, and not gather at the pick-up points.
