Summer is the perfect time for taking vacations and what better place to vacation than the great state of Illinois? Families will journey through Illinois with an interactive Adventure Guide through the Museum’s natural history and history exhibitions. Children will design a model of a Route 66 attraction and head out on a road trip obstacle course through some of the many tourist destinations in Illinois.
Super Saturdays offer thematic activities recommended for children ages 5 and up each month. Activities take 30-40 minutes to complete and are included with Museum admission. Parents and families are encouraged to participate. For additional information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 217-558-6696.
Super Saturdays at the ISM are sponsored by Bank of Springfield. The Illinois State Museum is located at 502 South Spring Street in Springfield.
