Frost Trade Beads

Stephen A. Frost and his son Daniel peddled glass seed beads to Plains Indian tribes in the latter half of the 19th century and later non-Native clientele. In 1941, Dan Frost donated 71 bead sample cards and Native American beaded objects to the museum.
