Brown Bag Lecture presented by Mark Schurr, Professor of Anthropology, University of Notre Dame

The Kankakee Protohistory Project is investigating late Fisher/Huber occupations in the Kankakee Valley of northeastern Illinois and northwestern Indiana. Excavations at the Middle Grant Creek site in the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie provide new evidence of prehistoric life at the very end of prehistory.
