Learn about the Underground Railroad and slavery in Illinois. Learn about Henry "Box" Brown who shipped himself to freedom and climb in a shipping crate to imagine how he felt. See artifacts from the Underground Railroad Committee of Morgan County. Pretend you are escaping to freedom through a giant maze, and make a north star craft.

Super Saturdays offer thematic activities recommended for children ages 5 and up on the first Saturday of each month. Activities take 30-40 minutes to complete andare free with admission to the Museum. Parents and families are encouraged to participate.
