Fun never looked this green. Join the Illinois State Museum as it kicks off Earth Month with engaging activities centered on reducing, reusing, and recycling. Participants will work together to build a giant playhouse out of repurposed cardboard boxes. Children will create a piece of art using reclaimed materials with local artist Katherine Pauley and play games provided by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Natural Resources. You won’t want to miss this great family event.

Activities are recommended for children ages 5 and up with an adult. For additional information, please contact events@illinoisstatemuseum.org or (217) 782-0061.
