JUST the FAX

As the Illinois State Museum in Lockport has one of the last functioning fax machines on the planet, we put a call for artists to fax us an artwork.  The only requirement being that it arrives via our fax machine.  Faxes were received from around the globe creating a kalaidascope of imagery, expression, style and idea.

THE RESULTS SHOW is the culmination of the  artist’s labor.  Eight“mentor” artists were scheduled  to be onsite on specific Saturdays tomake art, provide demonstrations, and lead the conversations with the participants.
