Tot Time is happening this month at Dickson Mounds! This month’s program is all about Wetland Wildlife! Participants will enjoy learning about the wildlife of the Emiquon Preserve, from microscopic to four-legged creatures and all those in-between.

This month’s program is all about the variety of wildlife that lives at the Emiquon Preserve, presented by the Therkildsen Field Station’s Education Coordinator Christa Christensen. Participants will enjoy learning about the wildlife of the Emiquon Preserve, from microscopic to four-legged creatures and all those in-between. These creatures fly, swim, and push their way around underwater, and each species plays an important role in the health of the wetland.  Tots and caretakers, expect to enjoy hands-on activities and crafts to take home!

The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is free.  Registration is not required.  However, groups of 8 or more are encouraged to call the Museum at 309-547-3721 prior to the program date to ensure the availability of supplies.  Participants are welcome to enjoy the Museum exhibits after the program.
