ISM is partnering with our neighbors at the Secretary of State's office and the Illinois Supreme Court to host two days of family-fun at the Capitol Complex to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

On July 17th and 18th from 10:00-4:00, visit the Illinois State Museum, The Illinois State Library, The Illinois State Archives, the Illinois State Capitol, and Illinois Supreme Court Historic Preservation Commission. For detailed schedule, visit: http://www.ilsos.gov/america250

ISM will have all day art and science activities in our building, plus all exhibits will be open. From 11 am - 1 pm, World Bird Sanctuary will join us with an eagle display. From 2 pm - 3 pm you can meet with ISM staff in the exhibits.

This event is free, and open to all-ages.
