Route 66 turns 100 this year! To commemorate this milestone, the ISM is participating in a speaker series about different aspects of the Mother Road. The ISM is hosting this month’s speaker, Cheryl Eichar Jett from Edwardsville. In this session, she will draw from her forthcoming book Aprons Away: Women’s Work on Route 66 to explore the essential roles women played along the Mother Road.
