It’s Still Art at Super Saturday on March 3 at the

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Families can dive into art at the Illinois State Museum’s “It’s Still Art” Super Saturday event on Sat., March 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Whether it’s a painting, drawing, or photograph, artists have created still life art for centuries. Children will enjoy creating a still life collage and trying their hand at sketching a still life arrangement. Families will also enjoy snapping a photo with a self-created 3D still life, and exploring the new Stillness exhibition, featuring still life art from Illinois artists.
Super Saturdays at the Illinois State Museum offer thematic activities recommended for children ages 5 and older. Activities take 30-40 minutes to complete and are included with Museum admission.
