Photographer Nora Moore Lloyd will provide her insight and experiences that are highlighted in her work in the latest exhibit Interrupted Journey: A Photographic Journal of Bird Rescue and Relationship, at 2:00 p.m. in the exhibit gallery.

This exhibition of photographs and journal entries by Nora Moore Lloyd (Ojibwe/Anishinaabe) provides a look into one artist’s ongoing work with bird rescue and release in the Chicago area. These photographs honor those birds whose lives have been interrupted by human activity. ‘A beauty shaped by absence,’ Lloyd says. Lloyd’s work is rooted in her Indigenous perspective of mutual respect and relationship to the land and nature.

Admission is free and registration is not required.
