Tot Time is happening this month at Dickson Mounds! Adults and their tots will have fun exploring, discovering, and learning on the first Thursday of the month. A different topic is featured each month.
The Peoria Park District’s Zoomobile will present “How Many Colors Can you See?” featuring a variety of live animal ambassadors. Red, yellow, green, all the colors we will have seen! Why are animals all those different colors? The program will highlight why animals have different colors and markings and how important it is to their survival in the wild. Tots and caretakers may enjoy fun crafts to take home.
The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. and is free. Registration is not required. However, groups of 8 or more are encouraged to call the Museum at 309-547-3721 prior to the program date to ensure the availability of supplies. Participants are welcome to enjoy the Museum exhibits after the program.
