Tot Time is happening this month at Dickson Mounds! Tots and their adults will have fun exploring, discovering, and learning about a different topic the first Thursday of every month.
This month’s program is all about turtles and is presented by the Jake Wolf Memorial Fish Hatchery’s Outreach Specialist Kayleigh Smith. Participants will enjoy learning about the different types of turtles found in Illinois, where they live, what they eat, and the importance of aquatic resource conservation for their survival. Tots and caretakers, expect to enjoy hands-on activities and crafts to take home!
The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is free. Registration is not required. However, groups of 8 or more are encouraged to call the Museum at 309-547-3721 prior to the program date to ensure the availability of supplies. Participants are welcome to enjoy the Museum exhibits after the program.
