Snow is in the forecast at the Illinois State Museum! Join us on December 14, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, for an exciting Curious Kids program all about snow!

We will read stories about waiting, not so patiently, for the first snow to fall and an ambitious snow plow who makes streets safe after a blizzard. Afterwards, kids can build a snowman together in a sensory bin of fake snow, and the fun doesn't stop there! Kids can also craft paper snowflakes and build mini mammoth snow globes to take home. Start bundling up now because you’ll want to get to the Museum before the snow melts!

Curious Kids is a free monthly activity and story hour crafted for young children, families, and daycares. For more information, please email DNR.ISM.Events@illinois.gov
