Taste of ISM: The Ghost of Lincoln

ISM-Springfield, Research & Collections Center
Brown paper bag with a happy face on the front. The words taste of ISM written over the bag. The enduring Lincoln historical legacy often examines who Abe and his family were in life. Join us as we explore the Lincoln family decisions surrounding his death, community sightings of his ghost, and how the president's legacy continues to be influenced not only by history, but by folklore and legend. Taste of ISM celebrates the work and passion of the team of the Illinois State Museum. You’re invited to join us or a lunch and learn style program where you’ll hear stories about art, history, science, and the magical world of museums. You are welcome to bring your lunch to eat during the program, but lunch is not provided. This program will take place in-person at the ISM Research and Collections Center at 1011 E. Ash Street, Springfield. This event will also be streamed over Zoom at https://bit.ly/TasteISMOct9. For more information, please contact dnr.ism.events@illinois.gov or (217) 782-5955.
