Join us for the next engaging session of our “History for Lunch” series on Tuesday, June 24, at 12:30 p.m at the CAP 1908 Social Innovation Center located at 1100 S Grand Ave E. We’re thrilled to welcome Dominic Watson, president of the Springfield Project, who will tell us about their innovative coworking space, the Community Access Project 1908.

Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Madison Furniture Company and Southtown Theater, two iconic sites recently acquired by the Springfield Project. You’ll learn about the importance of these buildings and their rich history.

At the event, we’ll also explore meaningful ways to preserve your history, capturing both the grand milestones and the treasured details. To help you on this journey, each participant will receive a journal filled with prompts to inspire your reflections.

Plus, enjoy a delightful lunch courtesy of the Society, provided by Replay Lounge. Please RSVP by June 20 to secure your spot.

We can’t wait to see you there—bring your curiosity and appetite for learning!
