For Immediate Release:
SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Illinois State Museum is inviting families and groups to sleep with the fishes—or trilobites, or mastodons, or elk—on Friday, March 8 to Saturday, March 9. The "Night at the Museum" overnight program is a rare opportunity for visitors to enjoy the Museum after dark. Families and groups with children ages 7-11 will be able to participate in science experiments, create fossil art, explore the museum, and end the night sleeping with the exhibits.
The overnight fee includes admission, activities, an evening snack, and breakfast. Registration is required by Friday, February 22. The fee is $45 per person for Illinois State Museum Society members and members of groups of 10 or more, and $50 for non-members.
